I grew up playing sports. In high school, we went to the semi-quarter finals for state playoffs in basketball.

Hey! I’m Tiffany!

I’ve been in the accounting industry for more than twenty years now. I stumbled into accounting and tax by accident as I never really had any intention or desire to do accounting! But after college, I was desperate for a job and a local CPA firm gave me an offer. I guess you could say the rest is history!

After working for small CPA firms and large corporations, I decided I wanted to write my own story and become an entrepreneur. I’ve worked with small businesses ever since and have loved every minute of it.

In my time as a CPA firm owner, I’ve recognized that solopreneurs and brand new business owners are usually left out in the dark and don’t have much support for their finances. They’re often unsure who to trust, what to do, and don’t have the financial resources yet to afford most accounting professionals. With that in mind, I decided these business owners needed someone to lean on and resources to understand what they don’t know about their business finances.

I’m guessing this sounds familiar. If so, welcome!
I’m so glad you’re here!

  • Coffee with cream and sugar
  • Hot summer days
  • Riding in a jeep with the top off
  • The first blooms of spring
  • Hearing my children laugh
  • Drinking coffee while the house is still quiet
  • Enjoying a cold beer on a hot day
  • Reading books
  • Learning new things and personal growth

I’m terrified of snorkeling. I’m pretty sure I almost walked on water, trying to get out of the ocean when I tried snorkeling for the first, and last, time!

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. My first business was making jewelry in middle school! It wasn’t until I was 37 that I took the plunge and became a full time entrepreneur.

Through time

a look back

All my life, I knew I’d become an entrepreneur one day. At every turn, I was being prepared for that moment in time. I never knew all the lessons I’d learn throughout my journey, but it’s made me a better person and I’m so thankful for it!

...another CPA firm and hired my 5th employee! I also recognized that not everyone can afford working with me through my firm and started a podcast with the intention to help much smaller businesses get the help they need!

I jumped off the deep end to start my CPA firm with no savings and no additional income. It was SCARY! What I did have was God on my side and him lighting my path throughout the whole process.

The credit I had was running out and my personal debt was at an all-time high. Like the game scoring basket, God came in at the very last minute and turned it all around. I finally figured out how to sell and market my business in a way that created sustainable, consistent growth.

I almost quit.
